Past Saturday (January 13, 2018), we headed off for my second organised Luxembourg City photowalk (see my blog post on the 1st one). In opposition to the recent nature photowalks, we were again lucky with the weather: somewhat cloudy, could but nice in combination with some walking.
A nice, positive minded group of six photographers (of which 4 were new to the experience) joined me and we walked from our meeting point (Glacis) to the Robert Schuman monument, then headed downwards to take a few shots of the silhouette of the new Pfaffenthal lift, crossed the Alzette (and stopped in the centre of Pfaffenthal for some shots close to the water), then we followed the winding path toward the fortress remainders of the “3 Eechelen”. After a longer stop there, we passed the “Red Bridge” (Pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte) in order to get back to our starting point.
Thanks a lot to all participants, it was a pleasure and I hope you spread the word and we meet again on one of the next photowalks.
Hereafter are a few images, all taken by myself.
