Wow, what a year 2017 has been.

It was a year full of change, learning and progressing both in my photography and in the development of my other personal business.

First of all, I had a great start with my 50th birthday celebrations in January which I really enjoyed a lot.

My own training in the photography business had a great start with my participation in the Fujiholics Glencoe Workshop in January, meeting a lot of great people. In the same time, I started with a series of TFP portrait shootings with my friends as an intensive training for myself in my home studio, as well as some paid shootings.

Different holiday trips were great occasions for some city/street photography as well as for discovering fantastic new landscapes. An unexpected occasion to learn a lot about continuous artificial lighting was my participation for 4 days at the film set for a Luxembourgish movie („Superjhemp retörns“).

June saw the start of my photoblog where I’m trying to have more and more regular posts and also build up a more general part on the Fuji ecosystem.

In November, I started with my series of Nature and City Photowalks in Luxembourg.

In order to start my activities in consultancy and training, I worked a lot on deciding on my services and building up my website. It went online end of November and I’m currently very active in networking in order to attract new customers. With a focus on private customers for individual assistance in the Apple ecosystem as well as on small and medium businesses for electronic document archiving and process optimisation consultancy.

In this whole process, I learnt a lot about marketing, social media, SEO and building websites.

But the most important part in my business life are my current and future customers, in person or online. I’m trying to focus as much as possible on your needs and I’m happy for each and every feedback I got this year.

Thank you very much for your support.

I wish you and your families a very peaceful Christmas time and a successful year 2018.
